1883 $1 Hawaii Dollar MS62 PCGS. Half a million Hawaiian dollars or "dalas" were produced at the San Francisco Mint in 1883. The average certified representative grades between XF45 and AU50. Few are seen in this state of preservation. Flashy fields show a layer of mottled olive-green and golden-orange patina that conceals most major marks. Strike definition is razor-sharp. Population: 22 in 62, 62 finer (2/17).
