Die State II, a rare early die state before the obverse cracks around the periphery but after the reverse cracks from the branch stem to the rim. This piece displays mottled gunmetal and battleship-gray patina with overtones of olive and gold. Well-struck without obvious adjustment marks, and showing light wear over the high points of the devices.
