1856 $1 -- Cleaned -- ANACS. AU55 Details. OC-1, R.2. The champagne-tinged pearl-gray surfaces have significant hairlines and several noteworthy abrasions on the obverse. However, the coin is also well-struck with a splash of gold toning on each side. The 1856 is a better date overall.
