Seated Dollars
1866 $1 Motto AU58 PCGS. OC-1, R.2. Osburn-Cushing Die State a/a. The 1866 Seated Liberty dollar is a scarce issue that saw the first use of the Motto design. This attractive near-Mint specimen offers well-detailed design elements, with just a touch of wear on the high points. The lightly abraded surfaces show a mix of satiny luster and prooflike reflectivity on both sides. Population: 20 in 58 (1 in 58+), 57 finer (2/17).
