Seated Dollars
1867 $1 AU53 ANACS. OC-P1. This attractive 1867 silver dollar is from the proof die pair as described on the Osburn-Cushing website, seateddollarvarieties.com. However, housed in an old white ANACS holder, it is not designated as a proof. The coin does possess some prooflike charactistics in addition to the variety diagnostics, including broad, squared rims and remnants of reflectivity in the fields. Both sides show light wear from brief circulation. Original olive-green, russet, and golden toning blankets each side, giving the coin exceptional visual appeal.
