1874 T$1 MS62 NGC. Period after FINE. This coruscating Trade dollar is mostly white, though the peripheries display glimpses of sun-gold and ocean-blue toning. The surfaces are unusually unabraded for the MS62 level, but the strike is incomplete on Liberty's hair and the uppermost stars.
Ex: Houston Signature (Heritage, 11/2007), lot 60762, which realized $1,380.
