Proof Trade Dollars
1875 T$1 PR62 Cameo NGC. Type One Reverse. Both reverse types are known for 1875 proofs, with the Type Two (no berry under claw) more often seen. A brilliant specimen with substantial frost throughout the major motifs. The strike is incomplete on the eagle's right (facing) claw. A mere 700 proofs were struck.
Ex: FUN Signature (Heritage, 1/2006), lot 4499, which realized $2,070.
