1879-O $1 MS65+ PCGS. The 1879-O is an elusive issue in eye-appealing MS65, but it experiences increased demand in this grade because of the rarity of finer coins. The present Plus-graded Gem showcases beautiful rainbow toning around the margins with brilliant silver interiors. Vibrant luster exhibits only a few light marks on Liberty's cheek. The strike is better than expected for the issue. There are two dozen finer examples at PCGS (2/17).
