1883-S $1 MS63 PCGS. The obverse displays a translucent veil of predominantly gold-gray patina, while the reverse is nearly brilliant. A handful of niggling field abrasions contribute to the grade, as do a few small reeding marks, but the strike is reasonably sharp and the eye appeal is plentiful.
