Frosted on portrait and eagle with cartwheel luster all around, occasional hints of cloud-white and gold-gray patina visit the shimmering silver surfaces of this Superb Gem New Orleans issue. The flag on 5 in the date is doubled, representative of the VAM-2 variety. PCGS reports just one numerically finer example.
