1889-O $1 MS65 PCGS. Most Uncirculated 1889-O Morgan dollars grade no better than MS64. This scarce Gem is among the finest that most collectors will be able to acquire, as higher-grade coins are decidedly rare and their prices reflect such. The coin has a clean cheek and frosty, original mint luster. The interiors are mostly brilliant, but the borders yield thin multicolor ribbons of toning. PCGS has seen only a dozen numerically finer submissions (3/17).
