1890-CC $1 Tail Bar, VAM-4, Top 100, MS63 PCGS. A Top 100 Variety. VAM-4 shows a heavy die gouge connecting the eagle's tailfeathers and the fletchings to the wreath left of the bow. Tail Bar coins are scarce above MS63, but this piece remains a highly collectible example. The strike is sharp and the luster frosty. Scattered abrasions on the obverse define the grade.
