Morgan Dollars
1900 $1 MS67 PCGS. Creamy white, smooth and frosty brilliance covers both sides of this Superb Gem dollar, while its MS67 numeric grade is unsurpassed at either PCGS or NGC. More than 8.8 million silver dollars were struck in 1900, and coins were released by the bagful well into the 1960s. Still, Superb Gems are very scarce. Few pieces can match the razor-sharp obverse strike on this example, and the reverse lacks only a bit of definition on the eagle's breast and talons. A tiny tick in the field near star 8 is the sole mark to mention on the vibrantly lustrous and attractive surfaces. Population: 53 in 67 (5 in 67+), 0 finer (2/17).
