1921-S $1 MS63 Prooflike NGC. Like other 1921-dated Morgan dollar issues, the 1921-S is common in Mint State. But prooflike pieces are very rare, and when one appears at auction, it is an important event for the specialist. This brilliant and minimally marked example has an above average strike for a '21-S, though portions of the wreath are incomplete. Census: 10 in 63 Prooflike, 6 finer (2/17).
