Proof Morgan Dollars
1897 $1 PR64 PCGS. A ring of patina comprises primarily reddish-gold around the obverse border and shades of cobalt-blue and violet around the reverse. The interiors are mostly brilliant, displaying moderate contrast. That is particularly true of the reverse. A complete impression should not surprise those familiar with proofs of this era. They are among the best-produced specimens in the series. Only 731 examples struck.
