Commemorative Silver
1928 50C Hawaiian MS65 NGC. Vibrant reddish-gold and deep brown toning with bits of aquamarine encircles pearlescent silver centers on each side of this lustrous, sharply struck Hawaiian half. A fully original example of this scarce and extremely popular silver commemorative with remarkably high-quality surfaces that are suggestive of an even finer grade. The chief's regalia is fully defined and Captain Cook's portrait is crisply rendered with only a few tiny, inconsequential marks. Housed in a previous generation NGC holder.
