Commemorative Silver
1927 50C Vermont MS67 PCGS. The Vermont Sesquicentennial half dollar is seldom offered in MS67, and the number of finer coins can be counted on two hands with fingers left over, even including pieces graded MS67+. The conditional rarity of this issue is underappreciated. The present coin displays a bold strike and satiny luster. Olive-gold toning is deeper on the obverse than the reverse, where it is also joined by amber and forest-green near the borders. Population: 54 in 67 (2 in 67+), 1 finer (2/17).
