Redfield Dollars
1883-S $1 MS65 Paramount (MS63 NGC). Ex: Redfield Collection. The 1883-S is much more elusive in Mint State than its '78-S through '82-S predecessors. Examples in circa-1980 Paramount "Redfield" holders are infrequently encountered. This well-struck example has blushes of cherry-red toning along the obverse border. The portrait and reverse are mostly white. The reverse is impressively unabraded, while the obverse displays delicate contact.
