1891 $2 1/2 Doubled Die Reverse, FS-801, MS64 Prooflike NGC. CAC. Only nine Prooflike 1891 quarter eagles are reported at NGC, this MS64 Prooflike being the sole finest among them (2/17). All examples feature a Doubled Die Reverse with broad doubling on AMERICA, the arrow tips, feathers, and claws. This fully struck Choice two and a half presents deep orange-gold coloring and glassy fields. Lightly abraded.
