1883-CC $10 Fine 15 PCGS. Variety 3-D. Although the '83-CC has a mintage of only 12,000 pieces, four die marriages are known. Variety 3-D appears to rarest, and has the closest spacing of the mintmark. This is a minimally marked caramel-gold example with considerable plumage detail within the wings. STATES is strike doubled.
