1895 $20 MS64+ PCGS. Despite its 1.1 million-coin production, the 1895 double eagle is only obtainable through MS64. Full Gems are very rare, commanding five-figure prices when found. This frosted, honey-gold Liberty Head twenty showcases crisp strike detail on the stars and curls. The presence of only a few superficial grazes gives this near-Gem the look of a higher-graded coin. There are only five finer submissions at PCGS (3/17).
