1897-S $20 MS64+ PCGS. CAC. The 1897-S twenty is a relatively high-mintage issue with 1.4 million pieces struck, but production quality was obviously high in the San Francisco mint as seen by the strike quality and thick mint luster seen on the several pieces in this auction. This piece differs slightly from others with its light reddish-tinged mint frost. Still, sharply struck throughout and well-preserved.
