Saint-Gaudens Double Eagles
1928 $20 MS66 PCGS. This is a beautifully preserved example of the last readily available date in the series, excellent for type purposes. The strike is sharp, and the fields are remarkably clean. Even Liberty's figure shows little in the way of high-point contact. A single small alloy spot near the 9 o'clock rim on the obverse attests to the originality of the surfaces.
