ACHAEA, Pellene. Caracalla. AD 198-217. Æ Assarion (20mm, 3.79 g, 10h). Struck circa AD 198-205. Laureate head right / Dionysos standing left, holding kantharos and thyrsos. BCD Peloponnesos 614; SNG Copenhagen –. VF, black patina with earthen highlights/deposits, "adjustment" marks beneath the patina. Very rare.
