REFERENCES: Bernardi 51, date not listed; Lowick - . CONDITION: Evenly clipped, otherwise good very fine and apparently unpublished. This is a very rare late survival of the earliest type of anonymous Abbasid dinar, which appears to have ceased regular production in 199h. Bernardi lists only three examples struck later in the 200s: a single example dated 207h, and two further specimens from the year 211h. This appears to be the only specimen of this type known for 206h. (1500 - 2000 GBP)
