THRACE, Ainos. Circa 427/6-425/4 BC. AR Diobol (10mm, 1.24 g, 1h). Head of Hermes right, wearing petasos / Goat standing right; coiled serpent to right. May, Ainos 176-204; AMNG II 303; SNG Copenhagen 405. Near VF, toned.

From the estate of Thomas Bentley Cederlind. Ex H. Otto Collection (A. Hess, 1 December 1931), lot 254. Lot includes H. Otto's collection ticket, numbered 496. The reverse of the ticket, in the hand of the collector, notes: "L. Hamburger, 4.9.25, No. 381," which is apparently erroneous.
