THESSALY, Larissa. Circa 420-400 BC. AR Drachm (17mm, 5.72 g, 9h). The hero Thessalos, with petasos and chlamys hanging around neck, wrestling nearly to the ground a bull left by band held around its head / [ΛΑΡI-Σ-ΙA], horse prancing right within incuse square. Lorber, Thessalian 57 (same obv. die as illustration); BCD Thessaly II 371.2; HGC 4, 424. VF, some roughness.
