A rare class of notes issued by the United Nations Relief and Rehabilitation Administration for displaced persons after the end of World War II in Europe. We have offered very few examples on these camps. In fact, this is the first piece that we have auctioned on Ludwig Dillingen. Interestingly, this is one of the few camps where the color of notes one received depended on one's sex. The white paper notes were issued to males and lilac color paper notes were issued to females. We will let the bidders draw their own conclusions as to the reasons why. This lilac color paper note grades PMG Choice About Unc 58. HID08701242017
