Hong Kong Government Emergency Issue $1 on 5 Yuan ND (12. 1941) Pick 317. An overprinted emergency note with the host being a China Pick 93. This emergency issue was in circulation for less than two weeks prior to the surrender of British, Canadian, Indian, and Hong Kong defense forces on December 25, 1941. The Ruth Hill Collection example graded PCGS Apparent Very Fine 25 and it realized $705 in our Long Beach September 2014 auction. Fine, with a small hole at center. HID08701242017
