MYSIA, Kyzikos. Circa 550-450 BC. EL Hekte – Sixth Stater (10mm, 2.70 g). Head of tunny left and head of lion right, joined together at the neck / Incuse square punch. CNG 96, lot 381; otherwise unpublished, but cf. Hurter & Liewald I 32a = Münzen und Medaillen AG FPL 308, no. 22 for the hemihekte of this issue. VF. Extremely rare, the second known as a hekte.
