CARIA, Mylasa. Circa 520-490 BC. AR Hekte – Sixth Stater (11.5mm, 1.80 g). Persic standard. Forepart of lion right; symbol on shoulder / Incuse square. Cf. Konuk, Influences, pl. XXIX, 7 (trite); SNG Copenhagen –; cf. SNG Kayhan 1653 (trite). VF, toned, minor porosity, a few marks. Very rare as a hekte.
