SELEUKID EMPIRE. Antiochos II Theos. 261-246 BC. AR Tetradrachm (28.5mm, 16.96 g, 11h). Lysimacheia mint. Diademed head right / Apollo Delphios, testing arrow and placing hand on grounded bow, seated left on omphalos; monogram to outer left, head of lion and monogram in exergue. SC 483.5; Le Rider, Lysimachie, Group 2, dies D1/R3; HGC 9, 236a. Good VF, a couple die breaks on obverse.

From the same obverse die as the following three lots, though it must have been modified to remove the die breaks after this issue, as the die breaks are not present in the later issues, even though the general wear of the die increases.
