LYDIA, Sardis. Hadrian. AD 117-138. Æ (30mm, 15.10 g, 6h). Laureate bust right, slight drapery / Uncertain deity within hexastyle temple with patera in pediment. RPC III 2402 = Mabbott 1836 var. (arrangement of rev. legend; same obv. die). Good VF, green patina, a few minor pits. Extremely rare, only the Mabbott specimen cited in RPC. Possibly the second and finest known.
