Watch List notes:

Hadrian. AD 117-138. AR Cistophorus (30mm, 10.93 g, 6h). Uncertain mint, probably Smyrna. Struck after AD 128. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS P P, bareheaded, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Jupiter enthroned left, holding Victory and scepter; COS III in exergue. Unpublished in the standard references. Good VF, toned, minor roughness. Overstruck on a cistophorus of Augustus, with traces of undertype visible.
