1767-A 9DEN French Colonies Copper Sou MS63 Brown PCGS Secure. CAC. No RF Counterstamp. The 1767-dated coins were struck in Paris and intended for use in the West Indies. This Select example displays nice centering and chocolate-brown surfaces. The obverse exhibits strong design detail while the reverse was struck with a late state die and lacks definition. The surfaces reveal minor planchet flaws. A lovely, well-preserved example. Listed on page 55 of the 2017 Guide Book. Population: 2 in 63 Brown, 1 finer. CAC: 1 in 63, 0 finer (3/17).
