1797 1/2 C Lettered Edge, Low Head, C-3b, B-3a, R.4 -- Smoothed -- PCGS Genuine. VF Details. Smoothing of the obverse fields and granularity on the reverse conceal the die state. The coin is well-detailed and exhibits deep gray-brown coloration. The strike is slightly off-center toward 8 o'clock relative to the obverse, leaving almost no trace of dentilation along that edge and unusually thick dentils along the opposite border. Our EAC grade VG10.
