1802 1C S-232, B-12, R.1, AU55 NGC. The T over Y in LIBERTY is diagnostic for the obverse that appears on S-232 and S-233. The former has the point of the highest leaf below the right side of the final S, while the latter has that leaf point below the left side of the final S. A late die state, with a rim break on the second T of STATES. This pleasing example has sepia and dark brown surfaces with scattered marks on each side. Our EAC grade VF30.
