1851 1C N-11, N-12, R.1, MS66 Red and Brown PCGS. CAC. Die State b, with crisscrossing die lines still visible at inner and main curls. The strike is sharp on the central devices but a trifle weak on select peripheral stars. Vibrant luster illuminates each side, showing largely blue-tinted auburn-brown toning but with original copper-red surface peeking through in the protected regions of the fields. The preservation is exceptional. Our EAC grade MS63. Population (all 1851 varieties included): 16 in 66 Red and Brown (1 in 66+), 0 finer. CAC: 5 in 66, 0 finer (3/17).
