1852 1C N-14, R.1, MS65 Red NGC. As of (3/17), the present lot is the only 1852 N-14 cent certified as Red by either leading service. The NGC Coin Explorer presently photographs the current lot as their 1852 cent plate coin. N-14 is interesting for its strongly repunched date, and the reverse is also distinctive for its die lines within the N in UNITED. A splendid orange-red Gem, ideal aside from carbon near star 5 and a tick on Liberty's forehead. Our EAC grade MS64.
