Seated Half Dimes
1838 H10C Small Stars, No Drapery, MS65 NGC. V-1A. V-1A and V-2 share the same rusted obverse die. V-1A was struck prior to V-2, and exhibits spindly definition on the first five stars. V-2, struck later, has additional faint stars, particularly near Liberty's head. V-1A is attributed by a radial crack to the first A in AMERICA. V-2 has a radial crack through star 13. Rich olive-gray and wheat-gold toning encompasses this satiny and unmarked Gem.
