Early Dimes
1796 10C JR-5, R.5, Good 6 PCGS. CAC. An early die state without any sign of the bisecting obverse cracks that later appear. This tan-brown first-year dime is refreshingly unabraded. All legends are clear, all stars are well outlined, and the obverse dentils are distinct. JR-5 is a better variety, notably scarcer than JR-1 and JR-6.
