Early Half Dollars
1794 50C O-105, T-3, R.5 -- Improperly Cleaned, Damaged -- NCS. VG Details. Since O-101 is certainly the most available variety among 1794 half dollars, any other die marriage of that date is better, including O-105. This example has stone-white centers and golden-brown borders. The surfaces are noticeably bright, and we note abrasions through the M in AMERICA and the eagle's upper neck and left (facing) leg.
