1818/7 50C Small 8, O-102a, R.2, AU55 PCGS. Only one die pairing struck the 1818/7 Small 8 half dollar. This Choice AU example displays considerable luster and attractive original toning. Aquamarine, gold, and amber borders surround champagne and light gray interiors. The strike is sharp and even with little high-point wear blurring the details. The overdate feature is plain. Eye appeal is particularly nice for the grade. Population: 27 in 55 (1 in 55+), 35 finer (3/17).
