Reeded Edge Half Dollars
1839-O 50C GR-1, R.1, VF35 PCGS. The mintmark is doubled below. This is the most plentiful variety of 1839-O half dollars, but it is rare and extremely popular in the late die state with both dies extensively cracked. A pleasing example with pewter-gray surfaces and lighter gray on the devices.
