1893-O 50C MS65 PCGS. Ex: Friend. An incredible example with fully brilliant and frosty surfaces, white at the centers and toned in gold, blue, green, and lilac closer to the borders. Both dies impart interesting clash marks and several die cracks. Nevertheless, the strike is sharp for this early New Orleans issue with only minor weakness at the shield corner, wing junction, and talon. Population: 4 in 65, 5 finer (3/17).
