1902 50C MS65+ PCGS. Strike definition is as strong as can be expected, with razor-sharp detail on the stars, curls, fletchings, and talons. Subdued frost emerges from beneath a layer of multicolor patina. Shades include blue, green, violet, gold, and olive. Barber half dollar output at the Philadelphia Mint nearly reached 5 million coins in 1902. Nevertheless, Gems are unquestionable condition rarities. Population: 25 in 65 (4 in 65+), 5 finer (3/17).
