Early Dollars
1795 $1 Draped Bust, Centered, B-15, BB-52, R.2, VG10 PCGS. The second of two Draped Bust die varieties for this date, the BB-52 is easily recognized by the placement of the highest wave of Liberty's hair under E in LIBERTY and the portrait properly centered within the design. This evenly worn specimen exhibits pleasing gray, gold, and blue-steel patina and retains all major detail, at least in outline. A few adjustment marks are evident on the reverse.
