Trade Dollars
1873 T$1 MS64 NGC. The Trade dollar was introduced in 1873, making the date extremely important to type collectors. Surprisingly few examples were saved at the time of issue, and Choice specimens are quite scarce today. This well-detailed MS64 piece is deeply toned in shades of green, gray, golden-brown, and powder-blue, with hints of mint luster shining through the toning. Census: 34 in 64 (1 in 64+), 8 finer (3/17).
