Trade Dollars
1873-CC T$1 AU55 PCGS Secure. Slight rub on the high points distinguishes this grayish-gold CC-mint Trade dollar from a Mint State piece, though it shows few scrapes, marks, or other mentionable impairments. The strike is soft on the eagle's right (facing) leg, as typically seen on the issue. From the original mintage of 124,500 business strikes, some 2,580 pieces were released to local depositors in July 1873, and the rest largely went for China exports. Abundant eye appeal makes this coin compelling for bidders. Very scarce any finer.
