Trade Dollars
1875 T$1 Type Two Reverse MS63 PCGS. CAC. The 1875 Philadelphia Trade dollar lacks the popular mintmark of its Carson City cousin but is nonetheless scarcer, as it has a much lower mintage (218,200 coins). Dusky chestnut-gold and silver-blue toning embraces the lustrous and lightly marked surfaces of this Select example. The strike is good though inexact on the curls and right (facing) claw. Population: 13 in 63, 34 finer. CAC: 4 in 63, 12 finer (3/17).
Ex: Summer FUN Signature (Heritage, 7/2013), lot 5101.
